Things are changing...

First things first...Today was an amazing 75 degrees. Sept. 1 and in the 70's! I ran to the store this evening and actually wished I had thrown a jacket on! That is definitely something new to me. Fall is right around the corner here and I could not be more excited! I have never had a "real" fall so things should be so fun the next few months. The leafs actually fall OFF the trees here! Oh, I can't wait.

Next order of business..and this is big. We are moving again. I get a pit in my stomach just writing that. We are going to be moving to Regent student housing next week. Long story short...we decided EVERYTHING would be better for us if we were living in the student housing. So that is what we are going to do.
Here is just some of the reasons:
this is the biggy...we will save $500 a month!
we will be across the street from Noah's school.
85% of the student families live there and all the kids play outside all day long (at our house now, our kids have played with only 2 kids)
they have a soccer team for the kids starting in two weeks (and only costs $15!)
they have lots of get togethers.. like a fall festival.
no more having to keep up our crazy lawn that takes so much time to maintain.
most of our fun friends who we have met live there.
it's just going to be soooo great...I'm really excited...but not for moving again.

Things are going to get a little crazy the next couple weeks so I will post when things settle down and get moved in...again! Oh and by the way, I just got made the primary secretary! I'm a little nervous but so excited.

It was actually raining in this picture but you can't tell

Noah is so nice and actually lets the kids do everything when making cookies

We had the funnest day at Sandbridge beach with our fun friends the Saunders.

All boy

I can agree that moving is the pits. (who says that?)
Anyway...we have moved 6 times in 6years but are happy where we are now. Sometimes it just takes a while to find the right place to be.
Primary Sec. is a fun one. Overwhelming at first but super easy once you're organized.
Seems like we keep swapping callings. I just got called to Activity days.
miss you.

WOO HOO! I am so excited for you. It sounds like this new place will be AMAZING!! With Noah being at school all day (and night) it will be great to have lots of company. Super excited. I'm not surprised you guys have dozens of new friends already.

And the new calling sounds fun. They must have read your blog and figured you were a Primary star!!!!

Miss you lots!

I can't believe you are moving again. But I can totally see why. Having kids for your children to play with is one of the most important things about a house. I hope we can still come visit. Miss you. P.s I don't recognize any of the decor in your pic

That housing sounds GREAT! I'm sorry you have to move again... aarrrg.
Those are great pictures!
And those kind of cookies are the BEST cookies. Lucky kiddo's!
I love your "all boy". I'll have to get my video chat figured out some day and maybe Dax and Ronan can "chat"!

That really stinks that you have to move again but it will be worth it. How fun that the kids will get to play soccer! I love all the pics and I just want to kiss all those sweet faces. We miss you and wish we were there to help you move.

Wow! I can't believe you have to pack up your house again but saving $500 dollars a month is worth it, good luck with your 2nd move, it sounds like it will be so worth it. Hearing your sunday story makes me feel better, thanks for sharing. I'm sure that kind of stuff happens all the time!

Sorry about the move again but what a great place for you to be. I am so glad you are doing well. The kids are getting so big. Enjoy the weather.

Sounds like things will be better for you. My cousin did the same thing with her two kids and loved it. She saw her husband a lot, because he was so close by, and they had so many activities for the families and kids. ...AND everyone was in the same boat, trying to figure it all out. She loved it!

So exciting! The fall, not the moving. It will be so great to have a close network of people going through the same things you are. That was one of the best things about being in military housing.
You will be an amazing secretary! You didn't stay out of primary long. Good luck!

Good luck with the move again. I'm sure it will not be fun in the least, but it will be worth it in the end. I'm excited for you to be closer to school and friends. And I'm sure you will do great as the Primary Secretary. You get to be involved with the kids, but you don't have to do sharing times :)

Sorry you have to move again, but sounds like it will be way worth it! Glad to see and hear that you guys are all doing well. I am so jealous of the fall weather!

You will like it so much better in student housing. So many of my friends lived there & they had so much fun sitting outside & chatting while the kids played. It makes me miss the student life. It really is such a fun time. MISS YOU!!!!

Wow all those great reasons sure make the move a little less overwhelming...well maybe not, but definitely worth it once you are done. $500 savings alone would be enough of an incentive. Good luck with the move and can't wait to hear how things are going.

We totally did the same thing when we lived in Wisconsin. We lived 20 minutes away from school the first year. We wanted to be by the rest of the students and closer to the school, so we moved right across the street from the school and it was SO much better! Granted our apt was SO much smaller, but it was much more fun! Good luck. You will be so glad.

Sounds like such a good move...and the moving part is just part of the package! YUCK for sure. But it'll be worth it in the end. I can't get over the soccer for $15! Oh and how you make me miss Fall actually being and feeling like Fall!!! :( BUT the 110 outside is LOVELY! (insert Kami sarcasm just to make it feel more real!) Miss you and good luck on everything. Can't wait for the update!

I would totally move...it sounds like it'll be worth it big time! Love all the pictures. Is student housing a house or an apartment? Either way I'm sure it'll be awesome!

JILL! I neeeeeed you! move back! I have lost all of my baby weight but I'm looking at my clothes and I hate them ALL! I think between all the kids I just settled for anything because I knew I'd just be getting fat again soon enough. Now that I'm done for good I need someone to come shopping with me and show me what all the cute fashionable stuff is!!! We'll have to hit the outlets in Feb!

You will be so much fun to have closer....eeeeekkkkk! I cannot wait!

WOW! I had to catch up on so much on your new life! HOW FUN!!!
Moving.. I hate it too. BUT a good kid-friendly neighborhood (that cost less)- it will totally be worth it!
Glad to hear you guys are doing good & having fun! We miss you!
... and Crystal keeps telling me how much she misses you!
