6 days left....who's stressed?!!

I can't believe Christmas is almost here!! I'm so excited! I was a little stressed that I wouldn't get everything done, but the past few days I was able to check some big things off my list of To Do. Sunday, Noah and I went to the musical production that my cousin Rob Moffit wrote about the Nativity. It was absolutely incredible! The words and music was so powerful. It really set the mood for a fabulous Christmas Season. Rob is such a talented guy. He sang the closing song, and I don't think there was a dry eye in the whole church. He is Amazing!

Last night we finally were able to make and deliver our Neighbor gifts. We always do salsa. I think it's a nice change from all the sweets everyone gets. (Not that I don't eat all the sweets!)

We were to lazy to get out of the car at every house, so we made Brody and Sadie get out and take them up to the door. They thought that was the funnest thing ever! They would just run from one house to the other.

Today we finally got our Tree decorated! I know it's so late, but we just got the tree on Sat. For some reason Brody thought that he looked like Santa with that bag on his Head. He kept going around the house yelling Ho Ho Ho! It was pretty funny.
I had to take a pic of my stockings. I bought them last year and am really in love with them. I searched forever to find cute stockings and I finally found these at Ballard Designs. If my house caught on fire, I think I might grab these, along with some other stuff!
Tonight we went to see the Temple lights with my brother and his fam. It wasn't too crowded and surprisingly not too cold! So it was great! The D.Q. after made it even better!
I just had to throw this picture in here. This past Sat. was Brody's last T-ball game (hurray!), so they had a little party after at PPP and handed out pictures and Trophy's. Who knew 4 year old T-ball players got those gigantic trophy's?! I was laughing when they pulled them out. Brody loves it so much. He put it on his shelf all by himself and had to show it to everyone!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

I took the kids to see Santa at the San Tan mall last week. I was pleasantly surprised when they both went and jumped on Santa's lap! I thought for sure they would be scared. If you want to go see Santa still, you should go to this Mall. There was absolutely no line! And it's outside next to the play place. I love it!

Thanksgiving weekend

We had a fabulous Thanksgiving this year! It started off by running the Turkey Waddle, which was a 5k run to help support our Nephew Troy and help pay his medical bills. Our plan was to trade off pushing the kids, but after 3/4 of a mile Noah ditched me, so he got to push them the whole way. And he did it about 20 min. faster than me. Little bugger!!
The Wendt Family
The Tyler Gang
Us with the boy of the hour, Troy! Then it was off to have two amazing Thanksgiving dinners. First, at my parents then on to the Tylers.
Friday I woke up early to partake of the Black Friday sales! Noah's sisters and Mom are the best to shop with. I think their modo is just buy it and think about it later!! Noah and I are giving the kids Disneyland tickets for Christmas, so I swore I would not get them anything else. I lied! But I didn't go crazy. I wish I would have taken a picture of all the shopping bags in Jeanne's living room! They literally took up half the room. It was great!
Later that day Noah took Brody to the 2008 model car show. Brody totally loves cars just like Noah, and is getting so good at being able to tell what kind of car is which.
Lastly we took the kids to see the Bee movie. We totally loved it! So many people told me it was so boring, but I thought it was so funny. It had so many inside jokes.
Hope you all had a fun weekend of eating and shopping! The countdown to Christmas is ON!! Can't wait!

WE GOT JIPPED!!

Who else was so mad at the Bachelor last night? Are you kidding me, he didn't pick anyone? I was so bugged at him! I really wanted Jenny to win and I was almost in tears for her! Although, I was very excited that he also didn't pick the other girl. (Can't remember her name.....the Vanessa Kottraba look a like)
A few weeks ago, my SIL got a pic with Jenny at the Suns game! (As you can see)
Is she not so cute?!!

The Birthday Boy!!

I can't believe I have a 4 year old!
It really seems like just yesterday we were bringing Brody home from the hospital! From the first night we brought him home until now, he has been the best little boy and we love him so much! Yesterday He had such a fun Birthday! Here is a recap.

Noah started off the day with making pancakes and a special B for the Birthday boy.

After our neighborhood coop Noah surprised Brody with his new bike! He was so excited and totally loved it. He has been practicing on all the neighbors bikes for some time now so he got the hang of pretty quick.
Then it was off to the bowling alley! I was a little nervous having 10 3-5 year olds without their parents but Rick and Jeanne came to the rescue and really helped out! All the kids had so much fun. It was so funny to watch them try and get that ball to actually roll down the whole lane. They started to just kick the ball, but it didn't do much good. Thanks everyone for all the great presents! He loved them all and can't wait to play with them. (I told him he had to wait until after school today to get them all out....he thought that was so mean!)
This is Vinny, Brody's cousin. It was the first of many falls for all the kids!
And of course the pic in front of the famous Birthday cake!

A little late....but still so cute!

I couldn't end Halloween (even though all of my Halloween decor is still up) without posting pics of these cute trick or treaters! The kids had a blast trick or treating around our neighborhood. Our neighborhood is only two streets, so it's perfect for little trick or treaters. Also, Brody started T-ball a few weeks ago. It's so cute to watch him try and figure this whole baseball thing out. Usually the whole team just dog piles to get the ball, but they are improving and learning to only get the ball if it comes to you. Brody is a good hitter, but not too aggressive in the outfield. His favorite part of his games is if Noah is not working and gets to come!!
In other news....we found out we are having a Boy!!! I'm so excited! I can't wait to have a little newborn again to sit and hold! I'm anxious to see how the other two kids react around the new little one. I'm a little nervous that Sadie will think it is her baby and try to put it in her stroller!

Yesterday I spent almost three hours in the doctors office for Brody! He was having a hard time breathing and was wheezing alot, so I took him in and by the time we got there he had gotten way worse! They took his oxygen level and it was way too low, so they had to give him two steroid shots to open up his lungs and then they did three different breathing treatments on him. After they gave him the shots he threw up all over the place because he was screaming so bad and couldn't breath. Poor kid!! He gets like this about every fall or winter. He has bad allergies and his lungs just get really filled up with mucus and crap. I made the mistake of taking Sadie with us, witch was not helpful, but who new it would be three hours long!! He is doing so much better now and we have a shopping list of medicines to take, but he's a trooper!

At the beginning of this year, our ward started this preparedness university. You have to pick five things out of each degree to accomplish that degree. They had tons of classes and talks on how to be prepared and work on your year supply. Then, this Sat. they had a dinner to celebrate the end and give out the awards. I graduated with my Masters!! I was so excited and we had a fun time at the dinner.

Noah is on his way to a business trip to Utah. I didn't know car dealers took business trips?!! I think it's just an excuse to go on a vacation! I guess he is meeting with an investor and talk over some upcoming plans for EZ. Amy if you get bored while our guys our gone, just come on over! I'm sure I'll be up late!

This Friday is the Benefit dinner for our nephew Troy. If you didn't hear about it or forgot and want to go here is the website to check it out. www.wendtfamilybenefit.org
There has been so many fabulous things donated to bid on. It should be a great night!

Halloween Party 2007

Wednesday, October 24, 2007

Save the date!!

So most of you know that our nephew (Heather and Chris's little boy) Troy was diagnosed with Leukemia a few months back. It has been a rough last few months for their family, but Troy is doing great and is such a little trooper.
Some Friends of theirs is having a benefit dinner for them and all the proceeds will go to the Wendt family to help pay for all the medical bills. Everyone and anyone is invited, so please spread the word to all. There will also be a silent auction that night, so if you have anything that you would like to donate or have a service you would like to donate it would be much appreciated! For more information about the dinner you can go to Troy's new website at www.wendtfamilybenefit.org
It should be a really fun night, we can't wait!!
How cute is that picture, by the way?

Last night we made the trek out to Schnepf farms. We went with my family....well everyone except one party pooper! We had so much fun. I'm so glad we decided to go in the evening because the weather could not have been better!

Emeri, Matix, Claire, Sadie & Brody
The fam!
Sadie actually sat so still while she got her face painted. I couldn't believe it!
If you look close you can see Brody next to my brother Jay. This roller coaster was actually pretty good! Sadie was too little to go on this one.

Everyone was too sick after the swings to get off!

The BIG slide!
These two thought they were so cool that they got to ride all by them selves.

Everyone (Except Jay, Kate and Claire....they left early) on the spooky train ride.

Family night

Tonight for family night we got a cute idea from my favorite website sugardoodle.net. You make a little treat, then print off the BOO poem and directions, and leave it on two neighbors doorsteps. My kids loved being able to "make cookies". I loved how easy they are!
Here is a picture of the finished product! (Sorry to spoil it Janel, Casey and Maddy)

We had to show Brody how to doorbell ditch. He didn't quite get the whole concept, but it was really funny watching his face while we were running. Janel, I don't know how we ended up with your Spiderman costume, but Brody insisted on wearing it all night tonight. He really wanted to sleep in it, but I said he might sweat to death!

The Dinosaur Museum

I can't remember the real name of this place, but that's what we call it.
The kids and I had the funnest time with Noah's sisters and Mom yesterday at the Museum.

We were not sure what these round things were but the kids kept acting like they were pizza's. Even Jeanne got in on the action!

Then we got to pan for gold. All the kids loved this part. They even got little bags to put thier gold in.

I had to get a pic of all the kids in the jail cell. We told them to look sad. Emma was trying really hard!

Later that evening we headed off to T-Ball practice. Brody just started a few days ago. It is really quite comical to watch. They really have no idea what is going on.
