Family night

Tonight for family night we got a cute idea from my favorite website sugardoodle.net. You make a little treat, then print off the BOO poem and directions, and leave it on two neighbors doorsteps. My kids loved being able to "make cookies". I loved how easy they are!
Here is a picture of the finished product! (Sorry to spoil it Janel, Casey and Maddy)

We had to show Brody how to doorbell ditch. He didn't quite get the whole concept, but it was really funny watching his face while we were running. Janel, I don't know how we ended up with your Spiderman costume, but Brody insisted on wearing it all night tonight. He really wanted to sleep in it, but I said he might sweat to death!

So cute! Your kids probably had so much fun doing that. That makes me want to make goodies and door bell ditch them with carter. Oh and I am so excited for you that you have # 3 on the way!! I can't believe you will be a mom of 3!! Crazy! Are you feeling okay? HOpe you are doing well! We will let you know when little Sawyer comes. Talk soon

That is too cute! Tell Noah thanks again for coming to hear Curtis speak. That is something he'll always remember! Hey, and I'm glad you thought my story was funny... it is (well, now... maybe, JK).
Your post about family night is too cute! I can't wait have our kids to do stuff like that with. See, Brody is just too innocent and nice to grasp the concept of ringing some one's door then running! Come on -JK!
BTW -Sadly, I won't be able to make it to your party!! (Wahhh). I'm meeting up with my family in Las Vegas that weekend (my sister just moved there). Still, make sure your kiddo's come trick-or-treat at my house on Halloween!

That looks like so much fun. I love to make cookies with the kids and door bell ditching is even more fun. I can totally see you and Noah trying to explain it to Brody. I just love being outside now that the weather is so great!!!

My kids LOVED the boo-ing last year, they thought it was the best! And of course were arguing over who got to carry the plate, ring the doorbell, etc.

Dayton was feeling pretty cool that he made his own decision to let Brody borrow his costume. It has been used as PJ's many times. Too funny.

I'm just glad someone started it this year. We've started the Boo-ing the last 2 years, and I've so behind this year that I was just going to not do this year. I'm glad you did it!

I remember doing this when I was growing up! It was so fun! My kids would love to do something like this. Maybe I should try to start boo'ing my neighbors. Thanks for the idea! ;o)

Thanks for coming on Friday. It was fun!

That looks like fun! They have the boo packets at target too. We need to do our boo's to people. Also I love that he wanted to sleep in his costume. Preston wants to be Jack Sparrow in his dreams and beggs to wear to bed. Boys!!!!

I know... wasn't that scary? My friend sent it to me and I freaked out too! I sent her an email letting her know how bad she freaked me out. Right after I was laughing and sent it to everyone, haha!
