Just call me CRAZY!!!

On Fri. I took Sadie to have her follow up apt. with the surgeon (everything looked great and we are totally home free...YAY) so after I thought I would run to the mall and try to find some maternity jeans. Not a big deal right? Wrong! Guess who forgot a stroller? Not even a little umbrella one! I thought about not going in, but since I was already there and getting the kids out of the car, I thought what the heck, how bad could it be. BAD!! WE started off eating lunch there, which was not too bad, but by the time we go to Gap they were done! I tried on so many jeans and had to keep going back to get different sizes and every time they would run out of the dressing room and try to hide in the clothes racks! I really wanted to scream! I just kept bribing them with the play place that they love to go to. It actually ended up being a great day to be at Gap because they were having an amazing sale and with my discount it made it even better! I got this really cute maternity dress for 7 dollars! And I found a really cute pair of jeans and got them for half off! It really made up for the way my kids were acting!

So we then headed over to the play place. After being there for 5 min. they closed it to clean it. Just my luck huh? I was so mad! I promised them they could play and really didn't want to wait the half an hour! So I got them Slurpee's to make up for it!
Then we went to Nordstrom to buy a Bella Band, which I guess they only sale online...dumb! Do any of you have one? Let me know if you like them. I can't decide if I am going to like it.
I learned a great lesson that day...don't ever leave home without a stroller!

I'm so not ready to have kids!!! That stresses me out! But then I looked at that picture of them and suddenly the stress left! They are so adorable! Your such a good mom Jill! I can't wait to see baby number 3!! So, you still thinking about naming him Boyd?

Can't leave home w/o a stroller. It's NOT worth it! I'm debating on whether to get a Bella Band too. I need to go check out GAP's maternity pants soon! Do you really like them? Maternity pants are so hard to find...esp. cute ones!

Funny! Motherhood Maternity sells them too, not that particular brand but I think they're all the same. I hate maternity pants, I can never find a pair that doesn't make my a** look ginormous!!

Jill- Hey girl! Your story makes me wonder what people did before they made strollers. Thank heavens we have them now. I don't know what some days would be like if I didn't have one. Your kiddos are supper cute! Glad to hear that things are going well in your neck of the woods.

Bummer story. However, Lisa let me use her 2 bella bands (black and white) and I probably used them EVERY DAY! I WILL buy my own on the next pregnancy! I think you can get them at Pea in a Pod in the store!

I would never go anywhere without my stroller! You are so brave!! Way to go on the great deals! I hope you get your bella band. I had one and hardly used it. I always felt like I would get caught with my pants around my waist or it would roll up and my belly would show. I used it around the house. So good luck!!! Are you going to post a pic of you in your new dress?! :) And I am glad Sadie is doing great!!

You crack me up because I would have done the same thing, which at one time I did and it was a nightmare because Lucas wasn't walking yet and he weighs more than a sack of flour! I don't have any of those bella bands but I saw something just like them with a similar name at Motherhood. Good luck girl.

Hillarious! So true, every last line you wrote. It is always such an ordeal to load up to get to the darn mall, there is no way you could of just turned around. I am so glad you got what you wanted.
When you got home, hopefully you could relax for a total of 5 minutes.

Kids are so funny! I was that kid that loved to hide in the clothes rack and watch people as they went by. Okay, I have a bella band and I love it because I can wear pants that aren't "maternity" (I use a rubberband too). When I'm done (4 weeks, I hope) you can definitely use mine (I have black and white).

Oh girl...I have been there before and it is not fun. And, being pregnant on top if it? Glad you found some great deals and happy to hear Sadie is doing well!!!

It is so not fair I hd to go through 5 preggos with NO bella band!!I didn't really know about them I guess, or they were just for fancy moms or something LOL And there was no Gap maternity!!! And we had to walk uphill in the snow both ways to school!!! LOL J/K

Mall with no stroller is one of those things you only try once in a lifetime. :D

You are one brave WOMEN!!!! Seriously, way to go, i would have given up and left when I didn't have a stroller. So I've heard great things about the belly band. They say you don't even have to get maternity stuff if you get one.

Stroller or no stroller, kids at the mall is a lot work. I'm glad to know someone is as crazy as me, though. I just can't imagine doing it with two.

Oh how I wish I could have seen you in Gap!! I feel like I was right there with you. I just went to San Fran and left my stroller...I swear my right arm is twice as big as my left from holding him the whole time. I am seriously sore today.

I think we can all relate to your Gap shopping experience....it's like, can you just try some clothes on in piece!! Anyway, I LOVE the Bella Band...I got mine in black and white almost 4 years ago and wore them all the time when I was pregnant w/ June..you won't be sorry w/ that purchase!

Like I always say, I love telling people when we are talking highly of them. Rob Eagleston was over last night and we were going off on what a class act you and Noah are. Anyways thought I would just share that random thought.

I hear ya. Thats why our mall trips are almost non existent anymore. Emi and Matix are too dang big for the stroller. I have to pick it up to turn it. Well, I only have one more pair of pants left that I can button, my fat pants. The bella band comes in handy when I am just too bloaded to button them. I need to go shopping for maternity jeans too, but I think I am goind without the kiddos ;)

Jill, let Noah know that Patrick just watched the DNA evidence of the church geography, and found it to be amazing.

yes, i really liked my bella band when i was just barely growing out of my jeans. it worked really good! but once i got bigger it got a little too tight... so it's good in the beginning! i'd recommend getting just one and not several colors. and you can get them at the store... mother baby and more on gilbert and baseline if you don't want to order it.

Jill, nerd! I totally have one you can have, it's black. Let me know because it's at my moms house.
